Stunning dealthe main unit is of a good quality build and compliments a sky hd box beautifully. The left side of the unit slides to the centre to reveal your ipod dock and the right side to the centre to load cds and dvds.
All button controls are found on top of the unit and are solid and discrete. There is only and hdmi out so you will need to use the optical input to get use of the unit with other devices. I have used a three way optical switch to connect up my ps3 and sky hd box to the unit. The sound from both is outstanding. Some other reviews have commented that the sound is not loud enough.

It sits alongside my 26' panasonic tv (with freeview inbuilt), a panasonic dvd recorder(no freeview recorder) and a second seperate freeview box. The main cinema unit is comfortably upright and ideal for those with little spare space.
The remaining units comprise 2 speakers (wired) and a sub-woofer (wired). Manual controls are via flush buttons on top of the main unit and a bit fiddly to use until you get used to their location. Much bolder letterwork alongside each function would have helped here. There is also a remote control which is much more comprehensive in functions and much easier to use. It will also control simple tv functions (on/off, volume, tv/av switch) if you possess a compatible panasonic flat screen tv, as well as much more comprehensive control of the tv via this remote if you have a viera or similarly accepted link on your tv.

As long as you ensure your sky hd or sky + box has optical output set to dolby digital and your ps3 likewise, you will have no issues with the unit decoding the signal and producing a quality sound. The control is a bog standard panasonic affair, neatly laid out and solid if not imaginatively designedoverall, the unit is a vast improvement on any tv speakers and will delight you with its quality.
