Skip forward two years later and the machine doesn't work. I get the popular (judging from reviews here), grinding noises and a 'check disc' command. What the hell is the point of a blu-ray player that won't play blu-ray discs???.
Also, it seems the life span is only a couple of years, regardless of how often it's used. I thought lg were reliable; what a waste of money. Just add the hdmi lead ( not supplied ) and i also connected the red , yellow and white leads as well , don't know if that makes a difference. Can recommend , it won't disappoint. .
