Waste of money. Sorriest thing i did was invest in one of these. I got this after my ps3 give up the ghost and since i was mainly using my ps3 for watching blu-rays a standalone device was better on the wallet. How wrong was i. Takes an age to 'load' the blu-rays, doesnt even support 3d and makes irritating noises when playing films so need to crank up the volume to mask the sounds if you are easily distracted.
The icing on the turd cake that is this player was when i went to watch my daughters presentation evening the audio kept cutting out with a message coming up saying 'audio been temporarily disabled'. I understand copyright protection and all that but this was a 'home made' dvd recorded by the school. Have noticed a lot of blu-ray players have software updates available via their websites that enable you to upgrade the software and be able to play 3d blu-rays but this heap of junk has no such function. I couldnt even give it away, give it to my brother and he give it back saying it was cr#p, same with my nephew. Do some research and find something better, even if it costs a little more.
